Archives for category: Vintage Books

I went to my favorite little thrift store today, and bought a whole box of vintage books! You can probably guess what’s coming…vintage book collections! I have a grey set, a blue set, and a green set!

Here’s a first look at the BOX I carried them home in:

One of our items was featured in 4 treasuries today. FOUR! You should check them out. They are all different and fun in their own way.

Take a guess on which item is ours! (hint: it won’t be very hard…)

Why Not Pink And Green?

I’m loving the decorating-with-vintage-books trend that’s going around right now. I kept seeing all these beautiful, color-coordinated vintage collections around etsy, and I wanted to be a part of it! So I went to our cute little thrift store in Newberg (fondly called the Old Lady Thrift Store, because it it run by a group of wonderful, spunky elderly women) and had so much fun picking out these six books. Aqua Blue-Green is my favorite color, and while they are waiting to be sold, they are sitting nicely on a shelf in my living room!

Fun note: One of the books has beautiful pictures of fashion from the 40s, and another one has many, many sewing tutorials from the 30s!
